DESCRIPTION:Hello skiers! \nPlease join the Last Chance Nordic Ski Club on October  11\, 2025 to prepare the trails at MacDonald Pass for this winter’s skiing. Fall trail prep is vitally important for initial snow grooming efforts and the earliest possible ski days. We will meet at the large parking lot north of Highway 12 at 10:00 and work until approximately 4:00. If you have to leave early\, we appreciate any time you can offer. \nWork includes the following:\n1) Weed whipping tall grass from the trail\,\n2) Cutting saplings from the trail\, and\n3) Lopping branches which block the trail. \nThe club has several weed trimmers\, but please bring any weed trimmers\, loppers\, garden shears\, etc that you have. No chain saws will be needed. Be sure to bring eye and hearing protection as well as weather appropriate footwear and clothing\, and lunch\, snacks and water. Bow and upland game seasons are open so some blaze orange is likewise encouraged. \nNo RSVP is necessary. Please direct any questions to me. \nThank you\, see you soon at the Pass! \nMark Hall
