Despite all the snow we’ve received over the last several days, grooming has not yet begun. The club’s agreement with the Forest Service requires us to wait until next week to begin grooming at Mac Pass. And the golf course is like a fine wine (or, depending on your taste, a local microbrew) – your patience will be rewarded. Even if you notice that the golf course has been groomed, please, please refrain from skiing it until you hear from the club that it’s ready to go. With no prior packed base at the golf course, it will take a couple of days to set up before it’s skiable, and this cold fluffy snow will take even longer. If the golf course is skied before the base is well packed, it will tear up the track all the way down to the ground. Thank you for your patience. Please check back here, and we will keep you posted.
